When Fujifilm Healthcare UK arrived at the UK Imaging and Oncology Congress (UKIO) 2025 in Liverpool this June, they weren’t just bringing their renowned medical imaging solutions — they were bringing a story. One of innovation, culture, and quiet confidence. At the heart of that story was a thoughtfully crafted exhibition stand that didn’t shout for attention, but instead invited attendees in with warmth, clarity, and a very good cup of coffee.

Blending Heritage with Innovation
Fujifilm Healthcare UK’s presence at UKIO is nothing new — they’ve been part of the event for years. But each year, their approach evolves. Sam Berwick, part of the team behind their exhibition experience, describes it as a balance between familiarity and innovation.
“We always want to stand out, but not just with gimmicks,” Sam says. “We want people to recognise us, feel comfortable, but also notice that we’ve elevated things.”
A key aim for this year’s stand was to highlight Fujifilm’s rich Japanese heritage — a subtle thread woven through their brand identity. But beyond aesthetics, the goal was clear: connect meaningfully with visitors, draw them into the Fujifilm world, and spark real conversations.
The Park Display Partnership: Built on Trust
Having worked with Park Display for three consecutive years, the Fujifilm team knew they were in safe hands.
“Park Display really understands what we want,” says Sam. “I start with rough concepts, and they come back with renders that always improve the original idea. Their communication is brilliant, and the build quality is consistently excellent.”
This year’s design featured an open concept: light, vibrant, and deliberately sparse in medical equipment to avoid overwhelming visitors. Instead, the space was human-centric — with a workstation zone, AV screen for educational content, lush plant wall, and a standout coffee bar that became a natural social hub.

Standout Design Features
While several elements made an impact — like the LED signage and the immersive AV experience — Sam is quick to point out what truly impressed him: the craftsmanship.
“The thing that always stands out is the build quality. It’s second to none,” he says. “The coffee bar was a huge draw, and the overall vibe was simple, fresh, and inviting.”

Turning Footfall into Conversations
While Fujifilm doesn’t measure success purely in numbers, the team noted a clear uptick in engagement this year.
“We definitely had more visitors than last year,” says Sam. “The stand helped create those moments of connection we were hoping for.”
And internally, the feedback was glowing. Team members described the stand as “one of the better ones,” and praised Park Display’s professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process.
“If there’s ever a challenge,” Sam adds, “we’re confident Park Display will handle it quickly. They’re problem solvers and they just get it.”

A Journey, Not Just a Stand
Ultimately, Fujifilm Healthcare UK’s stand wasn’t just a physical space. It was a narrative — about precision, calm innovation, and human-centred design. It took visitors on a journey, not just through product features, but through the values that underpin everything Fujifilm does.
And if you happened to be there? You likely remember the moment you wandered in for a coffee, stayed for a chat, and left feeling just a little more connected to the future of healthcare imaging.
