When Luxscents set out to make a bold statement with the launch of a new flagship fragrance in the retail market, they needed more than just a stand, they needed an experience. Partnering with Park Display, they transformed an ambitious concept into a standout presence on the exhibition floor.
We spoke with James Edwards, who led the project on behalf of Luxscents, to understand how it all came together.
Setting the Stage: A Multi-Goal Launch
For Luxscents, this wasn’t just another exhibition.
“This was a big launch for a new flagship product, whilst also being our first ‘ARMAF’ stand,” James explains. “It was about brand visibility, lead generation, and setting up meetings with new brick-and-mortar retailers, all at once.”
Balancing these objectives meant the stand needed to do a lot: attract attention, communicate brand identity, and create a functional space for meaningful conversations.
The Challenge: Tight Timelines and Incomplete Specs
The vision for the stand originated from the brand owner in Dubai, but it came with a catch.
“The stand design was supplied without technical specifications,” says James. “And on top of that, we were working with very tight deadlines.”
This left Luxscents in need of a partner who could not only execute but also interpret, problem-solve, and deliver under pressure.

The Solution: Turning Vision into Reality
We asked how the vision was brought to life. Was it support in design, communication, problem-solving, or something else? This is where Park Display made the difference.
“Honestly, all of the above; design support, communication, problem-solving,” James recalls. “They worked to bring everything to life in a way that represented the vision whilst also keeping it attainable.”
Rather than simply following a brief, Park Display took an active role in shaping the final outcome, bridging the gap between concept and build.
“They also went above and beyond, helping with last-minute changes and additions. That flexibility was huge for us.”

Standout Design Moments
While the entire stand delivered impact, one element stood out.
“Personally, the smaller standalone stand was a highlight,” James says. “It won everyone who visited it; the colours and the vibe just fit perfectly.”
This attention to detail, ensuring even smaller elements carried the same level of thought and execution, helped create a cohesive and memorable brand presence.
Results: Strong Engagement and Positive Feedback
The stand didn’t just look good, it performed.
“We had strong meetings with both current and new suppliers,” James confirms.
Beyond measurable outcomes, the qualitative response was equally powerful:
“Very strong positive feedback, from the brand and from everyone who attended. A lot of it focused on the design that Park Display brought to life.”

A Partnership That Continues
We asked if Luxscents would work with Park Display again or recommend us to others. For Luxscents, this project wasn’t a one-off.
“Yes to both, we’d absolutely work with Park Display again and recommend them,” says James. “In fact, we’re already working with them on an upcoming exhibit this summer.”
